Re: next gen
Fri, September 16, 2005 - 12:28 PMit makes me sad that no company will ever open their new system with an rpg.

the revolution...
Fri, September 16, 2005 - 9:50 PM
...could save the game industry.
been preaching this same message for years: leave micosoft and sony to scrap over the old, tired console market. let's make whole new kinds of fun. then again, there's always the chance that people will just fail to 'get it.' remember the powerGlove? obviously a great concept, but it ultimately failed hard.
the ps3 and 360 will be really fun too, but we can expect the majority of titles to be more of the same crap that is clogging the shelves right now. this rampant malignant sequelitis is fast becoming pandemic. -

Re: the revolution...
Sat, September 17, 2005 - 3:24 PMI think Nintendo needs to think inside the box, and then outside. Meaning, first make a traditional console, and then make a revolutionary one. They are doing this with the DS and new GB I belive, but what about the console? Give people a choice, don't just say, "Hey, this is our new revolutionary console! If you don't like it, go buy our competitor's consoles." -

turn the controller sideways or attach the nunchukka left hand stick. now you can play traditional style.
