Re: halloween costumes?
Mon, October 24, 2005 - 2:00 PMWow! I love the camera shots. Especially in the elevator. Yeah, that is certainly tough to top! You could find a Halloween partner and do "Cookie and Cream" :) -

Re: halloween costumes?
Mon, October 24, 2005 - 3:43 PMmy problem is all the game characters i want to dress up as are sooooooo complicated. it's going to be one of those things i have to work on for a couple years, since i am so picky.
if i am gonna do it, i'm gonna do it up right.
and it will take me an awfully long time to find someone to make me Ivy's snake sword or Tira's ring blade.

Mon, October 24, 2005 - 4:05 PMI think their art director for the pics gets serious points too.
I'm not sure I should admit this but I did do Tomb Raider a few years ago. It wasn't Halloween because we don't really do that here but it was our Xmas party and everyone was supposed to wear a wig. I decided to do Lara because I had a fake ponytail already and without dressing up no one would know who I was supposed to be. She was easy. I just had to seriously inflate my upper dimensions and find some guns.
I think being Storm from X-men Legends would be fun. I like the super tall gold boots.

OMFG
Mon, October 31, 2005 - 11:37 AM
amazingly enough, at a renegade afterparty this sunday morning (outdoors with sunrise over the bay, no less), there were five separate katamari costumes. only two of the people knew each other and had planned together. one person was even the king of town with glowing red lights in his crown. completely amazing, because they all actually nailed the rendering of the look. one katamari even had all the theme music from the game playing off of little speakers and an mp3 player.
those people made my weekend. -

Fri, December 2, 2005 - 10:10 AMgreat costumes! Wow.
I've got just about everything I need to go out dressed up as my warlock from daoc. Even those little balls on springs for the spell chambers. This last HW I went as a succubus from DF in daoc, cause I'm lazy and I had the wings. Looked great. -
